I was deeply saddened when I heard the news that Andre Montgomery was the victim of a murder for hire plot. His uncle, Tim Norton, took an insurance policy out two years prior to his nephew’s untimely death. Tim Norton was the sole beneficiary of the policy.

You sat at the same table many times saying grace.
You greeted him warmly with a smile on your face.

You presented yourself as an ally and friend.
All the while you were plotting his horrific end.

What profit did you make when you lost your soul?
Did you even contemplate how you would never again be whole?

Extinguishing the life of a mere child, for what?
Simply to support your lavish lifestyle.

Did you even think about Karma stepping into the situation?
She never takes a lunch break or an extended vacation.

The hearthache, sorrow, and pain,
inflicted for financial gain.

When you look in the mirror who do you see?
I suspect a coward stares back since you sold your soul for a fee.

I know you had a good upbringing with a wonderful mother.
Get your pronouns straight we should pray for, not prey on each other.

My brother-in-law- died when he was only 21 too and I often wonder what he would have become in life if he had the chance to live it. I think the same about Andre.
