People

This is going to be one of those very adventurous articles in which I’m going to articulate some observations and emotions that I’m uncertain, as I write this now, how best to articulate. But here goes the adventure of this communication….

When did people become objects in our society? I know it didn’t happen yesterday. I know it didn’t happen during the start of my lifetime. It happened quite some time ago. Perhaps it happened with the fall of Rome or perhaps it occurred a few hundred years ago. I don’t know exactly when but, nevertheless, it happened. Today, people, worldwide, are talked to, promoted to, given “medicine” to and consulted to as objects. As a material object.

You can see it all over social media with the gazillion marketing companies and their promotional messages— “learn how to get ‘masses of assess’ to buy your product.” Or “take this pill and your penis will be harder, much longer.”

You see it with the modern day psychiatrist — Mary, the patient, isn’t going to necessarily be able to communicate with a professional on how to resolve her problems in life; she is going to get a label stamped on her and given some pills. They figure with a few chemical changes to the object (her), problems could vanish or some nebulous thing like that.

As long as Mary believes she’s an object, well, then, only another object could help her is the falsehood of today.

Here is a fact that backs my point — just about every time a crime occurs, the media blames an object, a gun, and wants to ban the object to “prevent” crime.

This isn’t a rant about people taking recreational or psychiatric drugs. I know they’re in pain. That is the only reason why anyone takes drugs. This isn’t a rant about how marketing companies want to make you millions of dollars by reaching “masses of assess”. And this certainly isn’t a rant about guns. No, this is a rant about people being duped into believing they’re an object. They’re believing a falsehood. A falsehood which is indeed the very fundamental of Huxley’s Brave New World. Important to note, the moment you think you’re an object, you’re a slave. Period! You can be controlled by other objects, chemicals, people with crazy intentions, and many other factors. The moment you ascertain, you are you, not a body or your brain or your car or your house, you are free.

When you’re free, you can observe what is before you, confront it, have power of choice, act upon your free will; you can love, admire, feel, cry, care for, etc. You can be a real feeling, emotional, intelligent person. Not an object.

Also important to note, most scientists reading this article have already invalidated it. You see, from their viewpoint, it is only what you can see that’s true. And seeing the innate YOU can’t be seen. So the innate YOU is not real…to them. Your body is real, your chemicals are real, your house is real, your car is real. But the source of all these things can’t be seen, so can’t be real. So they go on fixedly thinking. Unfortunately, blindness can sometimes be challenging to remedy but only in those who have to be fixedly right and can’t see where they’re off (which of course would make them right if they had that ability).

People are people! They’re not objects. We don’t live in a society of mere objects. It is time we all unobjectify people in our society and set things right. We are and live among sentient beings who have the power and freedom to do any and all in life, eternally. That’s my point and I hope it woke some readers up to a universal truth and reminded those who already knew.

Hope the adventure of the above communicated. If so, hit that clap sign below and I’ll know it got through to you. Until the next adventure…
